So I beat the game on my first try, and got 74 deaths. I'm not sure if that's good or bad seeings as the leader board won't work for me, but I'm pretty happy with less than 75. It got to the point where I was so pissed off that I couldn't be bothered waiting. And level 14 was like... the hardest for me. There's hardly any room to move and if you make the slightest mistake, you're dead. I also noticed a few slight bugs, where I'd complete the level even though I only close to the green area. This only really helped on one level, but yeah. Good game, it was surprisingly fun to play.

I'm voting high because there's too many whiners giving you low scores when they have stupid reasons. Giving you anything below 4 simply because the plot is basic (even though it's clearly a short animation) or the few seconds of violence (ted was a dick anyway) seems really unfair. It looks like you tried with the graphics and sound, so you at least deserve that much. Most of the low voters just don't realize how much effort a minute long animation can take.
Oh, and the ending was worth a giggle.

The game itself is alright, but it's extremely difficult. People think the first level is hard, what about the second with teleporting ninjas that appear out of nowhere? The zombie level was a joke too. The red guy that could hit you from almost anywhere on the screen was a boss, right? So how come he'd spawn over and over again. One hit takes of 1/3 of your health. I killed him three times in one life, and then I of course died because even standing beside a skeleton drains your health. Have you actually tried to complete this yourself? Most of the time I had to jump about, barely hitting things with the edge of my weapon. It would be a lot better if I could actually take more than a few hits before I'm about to die.
In short: It's far too hard, the enemies spawns are really hard to keep up with and they take off too much health when they hit you.
That being said, I liked the graphics and the gameplay. It's the kind of thing that (if it's easy) keeps your attention for a long time. The story seemed pretty interesting too, but I didn't get further than the necromancer resurrecting his dead brother. When he brought him back it looked amazing, but the little pagan symbol spoiled it slightly, it looked out of place.
If you change it to make things easier, I'll enjoy playing it a lot. Right now it seems like a waste of effort though, as each level would probably take ten-thirty minutes and there isn't even a save feature (I don't think).
I'm probably being overly critical, but there you go.
Author's Response:
Yes i have completed the game under the same conditions you are under. If it helps, when the red demon thing spawns, go right over to him so he cant hit you with the blade of his sword and slash at him. Otherwise, use block and dash attacks to kill the other undead. I know i've said this a lot but blocking and dashing may save you :)
Thank you so much for the good review.
